Too much detail about trivial battles when the real reason I wanted to read this book was to discover how Clive began the empire in the whole there must have been about 10 pages of Clive!!!/5.
If you are going to read any book on the history of Lord Robert Clive this is the must have book. This seminal work is fascinating and is written in a way that is not apologetic or filled with adulation for Clive's achievements and motives/5.
